Me+bed rest = crazier than normal....I understand cabin fever

What I have learned from my retinal Detatchment
-  do not call the only specialist with an appointment available to see you a rabid German Shepard.  Even if it is true.  (He has turned out to be a fairly nice doctor now that all is said and done.)
-  never again wait so long to go to the doctor
-  in and out surgery while it is just that make sure the feel good doctor understands that the put you to sleep meds make you sick and a little dot of motion sickness patch behind your ear is not going to help.
-  vomiting after eye surgery is like vomiting after you have had your abdomen cut wide open.  NO FUN!  By the way I can say this because I have had both done.

In the future I will give my love more credit.  The real reason I wanted my mom with me was because I didn't think he could handle taking care of me.  I love him, and I know he loves me, I just didn't think he had it in him to take care of me.  But turns out, he's got it.  While at the hospital they gave me a barf bag and I took it EVERWHERE with me.  Well almost, the first time I went pee, I didn't, but from then on I did.  I decided to try some apple sauce, it was amazing yummy, however my body rejected it and my love was a champ stood there and soothed me while I vomited all over out bathroom.  Then to my surprise as well as my moms he cleaned it.  He did ruin our shower curtain but that was the only causality of the battle field. Even after that was all said and done he read my emails to me, he read all the get wells to me from facebook he even posted an updated for my friends and family.  Overall IMPRESSED with his care taking skills.

What my eye looked like 5 days after surgery! Never mind the bed head!

Oh I might add all of this was going on while purchasing a house and trying to go threw closing!

So very grateful that my mom came to help.  While she thinks she didn't help much she really helped A LOT.  She did a ton of packing and of course she cooked!  I am not sure whom liked that more me or Rich, though he got to enjoy it more since he actually got to enjoy the food.  This is where the above mention of dot behind the ear comes in.  I vomited from the day of surgery till Saturday.  So for four days I was sick.  When he called the doctor they said it was normal for people to be sick for several days after.  With my moms urging Rich decided that he would take the anti-sickness patch off....(pictures Angels coming down from the heavens singing) I was amazingly no longer sick!

By Sunday I was able to be up and moving around all on my own as long as the animals were not at my feet tripping me😀Given the chance they were right in bed right on top of me right as close as they could be.  The cats would come and go but theses two they are stuck to me!
Another update late 😃

Missing my family....

Ok I think I am doing a great job with this thing we call project life :)

I have moved on to another week.

This week it is all about missing people, and a new birth, plus my favorite music this week.

With William with Daddy there isn't a lot for me to put in the book.

I joined a Facebook group called Project Lifers and they have given me some really great ideas on what to put in my book...so I shall continue my attempt to move on with this without Willie boy actually being with me.

This week Marsha (my 08 Toyota Yaris) got serviced.  Richie Pooh was sweet enough to take it to the shop and get her belts changed.  Woot Woot!

William had a new cousin born:  His Auntie Krystal had a 3rd baby.  Mariah Ann.  What a beauty.

I am still missing Willie and his cousins.  The photos of the boys were taking the week that I left and goodness I miss there little faces, and all the screaming of my name.  Never did I think I would say that.

Jackson gets to go outside a little here.  Lucky for me he stays in the back yard.  Mostly just lays under that bush.  As long as he continues to stay in the back yard I will let him go out.  No claws just puts him in too much danger to let him out of the yard out of my sight.

This week my favorite music includes:
Darius Rucker - Wagon Wheel
Blake Shelton - Boys around here
Luke Bryan - Crash my party
Florida Georgia Line - Cruz
Hunter Hayes - I want crazy
Miranda Lambert - Mamas broken Heart
Pistol Annies --- At this point if they are singing it I am liking it :)

My plan is to gather all these songs and all William's favorites and burn them on a CD and then put them in one of the Project life envelopes.  I already picked some up.  I want to wait till the end of the year to do that as well.   I think that I will do the music on a few CD's and then I will put all my favorite photos that don't make the album on another that way later down the road there is an extra copy.

It is also my intention to make some traditional pages to put in this book.

Ok so I am feeling a little more comfortable with working on this Project Life, life stuff hopefully.  I am going to step out of the box a little more.

I went to archivers and picked up the Honey Edition.  MMM so pretty.... I love the colors....  And I got my second Studio Calico kit.  Lets just say I think I might only do the required 6 months.  The box it comes in is much nicer then the first one, but it didn't make it to me in that great of shape everything in it was in perfect shape.  But I just think for the amount of money that I am spending that I would be getting a little more then I am I mean for 10 more bucks you can get an entire core kit...and that is provided that you have no coupons.  Just food for thought.

Sentimental Words with Project Life

This is the week, I made it to Idaho.  I don't know if I am excited or sad.  I have only been away from William for 3 days and for some reason it feels more like 3 months.  It is so different this time.

Normally I leave and it is a few days and it doesn't seem that bad.  I guess it is worst this time because I know that I am not going to see him for a few months.  Daddy will be bringing him to me in August.  In the mean time he will be spending a month in North Carolina and doing some travel with Daddy in California.

I got my first studio Calico Kit.  It is different.  I like it I think!  Let me think about it some more...before I decided and give judgement.

The little girl is Richie Pooh's niece, and while he didn't get to go to the first birthday, I went in his place.  I am lucky enough to have known his family for a really long time and really love his baby sister.  I can relate to her situation and having wanted a baby so long I know how special it is when you finally get one.  Plus how could you not love that little face :)

I added our Calendar for the month of May for this week.  A photo of the house that is now our home.

The Learn is a family friends little boy and they were kind enough to invite me to his preschool graduation on the day that I arrived in Idaho...I am so in love with him.  He calls me MiMi too!  Makes me have a soft spot for him :)

The Words of Wisdom for this week while I have no idea where they came (most likely from a movie) from really hit home this week.

At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in this world.  (give or take a few) some are running scared, some are coming home, some tell lies to make it through the say.  Others are not facing the truth, some are evil some are good facing evil.  6 Billion people in the world and sometimes you just need one!

I just need my little boy.  He is my whole world my whole universe and I would lay down my life for him in a second.  Sometimes, it takes being away from the ones we love to realize what them mean to you.  Don't wait to let the ones you love know just how much they mean to you.

Project Life.

A little closer to the big move to Idaho!

Not really a lot going on in our lives this week.  We are getting ready for the end of school we are another week closer to our move and the stress is starting to build on us.

I decided that I was going to include my tattoos and more stuff about me this week.  The Scrump photo is the actual photo I used for my tattoo, and we are still adding color she is in healing mode so no photo of her.  but soon!  My other tattoo that is new this week is William's mother's day note to me.  It says I love you mommy <3 3rd="" a="" all="" and="" are="" ballerina.="" ballerina="" ballet="" be="" because="" called="" clouds="" do="" ever.="" ever="" fantasia.="" fat="" favorite="" final="" forgot="" from="" girl.="" have="" hen="" hippo.="" hippo="" his="" i="" is="" it="" just="" little="" me.="" means="" might="" mom="" much="" my="" nbsp="" nd="" new="" note="" of="" p="" photo="" post="" print="" seen="" so="" t="" tattoo.="" tattoo="" the="" there="" think="" this="" time="" to="" use="" wanted="" was="" what="" where="" william.="" writing="" you="">
The Notes say:  I have never missed a Fast and Furious at the movies since the first one.  I think they are my favorite movies.  The family values in the movie may be the reason!
( I need to find my ticket stubs to go in there.)

The other Note Says:    So PROUD of your report of Beluga Whales.  You were so proud to show it off at the Science Fair.  Willie, you are so smart and we are so proud, very proud of you.
We love you baby boy!

We are fortunate enough to have William going to a Science and Technology school in Knights Landing and while it is 32 miles one way to get him there each and everyday it is so worth it the things that they are learning and the experiences that they are having.  WOW!  We are going to be sad to be leaving the school.

Mother's Day and Project Life OH MY!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommy's out there!
This is me, my mommy and my baby from April, when we went for my mommy and Willie's Birthday.   What a great time it was.  It was my first time with my mom and Willie's first time with my mom.  A memory I will love forever and always!

This is the first Mother's Day that I have had the pleasure of spending with my mom since I became a mommy.

I wasn't with Willie but that didn't stop us from Celebrating when I got home.  We enjoyed a day at the gardens.  Maybe not really Willie's thing but I sure enjoyed it and Ultimately we all had a great day.

The Lilacs are from my moms yard, and they smell what I imagine heaven to spell like.

Troy (my brother) had me go with him to get a truck.  Finally he is able to get a car that he really deserves and worked so hard to get, he looks so happy.

I had Yogi and Lub-Lub (Kenny's babies) spend the night.  Good Lord I love those two, I am so glad I get to be there MiMi.

I been sewing little pillowcase dresses for Richie Pooh's niece, and If I do say so myself they turned out so cute and I can't wait to see them on her.

Still not really venturing out of the box, but I am getting use to the idea of doing this every week and even remembering to take pictures.  Two more weeks and we will be out of Sacramento, and to our new home in Idaho.

More Project Life

Ok, so I have made it to week two, I didn't forget about Project Life and I have not shoved it into a corner yet!  The house is getting more and more empty and more and more of a wreck hope that I can keep this going threw this move we are getting closer and closer.

This week I have been traveling to my folks house and helping them.  They are mining Rainbow Obsidian.  WOW that is hard work!  My dad is 70 and thinks this is a fun and exciting hobby!  NUTS! A few bricks short of a full load is what he is.  My mom just supports him in his hobby!  We already knew she was nuts...LOL, sorry mom but it is true.

The Photo under the date slot is my sister in law and my nephew Wesley.  It was such a sweet and tender moment shared between a mommy and her baby I just had to share it in my book.  There aren't always going to be a lot of these moments as they get bigger and I never want to forget them.

We have lived in the apartment that we are living in for nearly 3 years and right before I left this week to go up to my parents house I noticed that the birds were back again this year and again this year they killed my flowers to build a nest in them.  This year it looks like we are going to have 5 babies.  Normally we have 3 and then after the Robins are gone the doves will come and lay her eggs in the same nest.

The little chipmunks that you see.  They were so cute there was 3 of them and my dad feeds them little nuts and his sandwich, fruit and whatever else he may have.  They even will come up and take his coffee out of his cup or water.  While I was there I went up to the mountain to check out what they do and work with them for a few days and my mom was sitting on a bucket digging out some rock and this little chipmunk jumped right up onto her back trying to get her coffee it was so funny.  She jumped up screamed and when running the other direction.  Her response was that she thought that it was a monster on her back the little chipmunk just jumped down and sat there snickering at her.

Project Life Week 1

Ok, so I have made it to week one and I have even put stuff in for week one.    I am still working with no camera and still my house is nearly empty.

Because Willie is an only child we celebrate his birthday for at least a week and this year is no different.

Yes, indeed I did loose my mind this year and yes they are hitting a pinata in my living room!  We have barely anything in the house and we have vaulted ceilings so might as well keep the kids out of the 100 plus degree weather and let them beat it in the living room :)...hope he remembers what a cool mom I am when he is 16.

I am not yet feeling adventuresome in this album yet.  I did join a Facebook group called PROJECT LIFERS, so hopefully that is going to make me jump out of my box a little.  I have been going threw my years and years of hoarding scrapbook stuff and using some of the letters, rub ons and stickers that I have saved for a "special project".  Do we ever really have a "special project"?  Aren't they all special?

One of the things that I want to do in this book this year is to give him very special notes, include myself, his daddy, and the rest of our family and friends in this album.  Because for the last 6 years each of the books have been solely about him and it is rare for you to see a photo of anyone other then himself in the books.  Hopefully I can change that this year.  My special notes I would like them to be in my own handwriting as well as others that love him.  And I would to include some of my favorite quotes, movie lines, or things that he says.  He is quiet the little character!

The journaling reads:  William this year we celebrated your birthday all week long.  We had a tiki party per your request.  your Auntie Diana, Uncle Kenny and all the boys came to help you celebrate your special day.   We even had a pinata in the living room.  Not sure what I was thinking but I let yall do it. YIKES!  What was I doing?  Daddy took you to see Iron Man 3, he has been taking you to see a super hero movie every years since you were 2.  And he also took you to Great America, you had a lot of fun!  I am told that two of the greatest gifts we can give our children are roots and wings.  I hope we are giving you both.  All my Love Mommy.
